About
Built by people who have stood in the yard at six in the morning.
Animalrounds started with a simple, annoying problem: the person who owns an animal and the person caring for it rarely share the same information — and almost never at the same time.
Why we built it
Ask an owner what their horse ate this morning and you will usually get a guess. Ask the stable what medication the vet started last week and you will get another guess. Ask the vet what the animal weighed at the last visit and someone goes looking for a paper card. Everybody is doing their job well; the information is just scattered across phones, whiteboards and folders.
We built Animalrounds around the handover instead of around the software. The moment an animal changes hands — dropped off at a stable, seen by a vet, picked up by a transporter — is the moment the information should move too. So the handover is a QR scan, the access is time-boxed and scoped, and the owner can end it with one tap.
The result is boring in the best way. The stable's task list is done and the owner already knows. The vet arrives with the history in hand. The driver has the passport number and the emergency contact. Nobody is chasing anybody.
What we hold to
The owner decides
Access always comes from the owner, is always scoped, and can always be revoked. There is no back door for a bigger customer.
Privacy is a design choice
EU hosting in Frankfurt, private media storage, no ad trackers on this site, and an export button that actually exports everything.
Calm software
No streaks, no badges, no gamified feeding. The app should be finished with you in ninety seconds and get out of the way.
Every role is a first-class user
The freelance dog walker gets a product as considered as the sixty-box yard. Coordination only works if nobody is a second-class citizen.
